Overview
Civil Bank Limited is a commercial bank founded in 2010 with branches across Nepal. Kala delivered civil construction, electrical systems and furniture for the Shivalaya (Jajarkot), Dharche (Gorkha) and Bhajani (Kailali) branches, with a total project value of NPR 8.2 million.
Design approach
The branches sit in earthquake-prone regions, so reinforced concrete frames and base isolators were specified alongside biometric security systems for the vaults.
Outcome: zero structural damage during the 2023 Gorkha aftershocks and 15% faster delivery through prefabricated materials.
